Hydraulic Stabilization System Components
Power-Packer system components are designed to deliver reliable and efficient hydraulic performance for stabilization legs and landing gear applications. Each system integrates high-quality pumps, motors, reservoirs, valves, and control units to ensure smooth operation and consistent power delivery. Engineered for durability, these components provide precise control, enabling safe extension and retraction of equipment under demanding conditions. Whether using manual or automated solutions, Power-Packer systems help improve uptime, enhance operator safety, and optimize overall performance for commercial and industrial vehicles.

Electric/Hydraulic System Control Boxes
A control box drives stabilization legs or hydraulic landing gear. It’s a self-contained set of controls that includes a motor or pump, reservoir and valves to operate the landing gear. The control box supplies high pressure hydraulic energy to extend the legs or lift the trailer and low hydraulic pressure to retract the legs.
Power-Packer makes two types of control boxes:
- Standard – A handle is used to manually pump the stabilization or jack legs into position.
- Auto-boost – Simply press a button and the system extends the stabilization legs or landing gear automatically, saving time and preventing injuries.

Hydraulic Valve Assemblies
The configuration of Power-Packer’s valve assemblies means that loads are securely held by the valves at the leg, not at the control valve. Additionally, the hoses are only pressurized when the leg is in motion. Valve options include spool valve control, with either manual or solenoid spool operation. Integral relief in the spool valve protects the system from excessive pump pressure.
Power-Packer hydraulic valves also include integral flow controls to provide a chatter-free descent control.

Gasoline Engine Driven Hydraulic Power Unit
Power-Packer’s self-contained gas-powered units provide fast, no-hassle set up of your equipment. Each unit includes a battery, charging system, and a manual override pull start. The gas electronic ignition engine has a 12-volt DC starter and meets EPA emission standards. These units have an 11-gallon reservoir for long-term performance.
